Initially matured in bourbon barrels, the whisky then spent a finishing period in virgin American oak casks, imparting an intense array of robust spice, citrus, and crisp orchard fruits to the waxy, honeyed malt at its core. Bottled up at a hearty 58.5% ABV, a drop of water wouldn’t go amiss here if you want to really delve into all those flavours.
